BEGINNING FENCING in LIVINGSTON

Scholarships are Available

New to fencing? We provide all instruction and equipment needed to get you safely started fencing. No experience needed. Ages guidelines are guidelines, they are not hard and fast, please ask if you have questions.

Beginner fencing camps teach basic fencing form, distance, skills, timing, and tactics to prepare kids to fence safely and with good sportsmanship with anyone. Kids will develop their flexibility, strength, and decision-making skills in a fun way. Fencing is a game of physical chess that allows fencers to play and compete individually in a supportive group setting. All safety equipment is provided for the duration of the camp. Kids should wear long pants they can move in (stretchy or loose jeans are perfect, shorts are not great), a t-shirt, and sneakers. Bring a water bottle and if needed to maintain energy, a non-messy snack. Return fencers from last summer are welcome to join in again!
