$65 Required Annual Fee includes use of some club equipment until fencers are able to purchase their own, insurance and non-competitive US Fencing Association membership ($35 annual fee for current MSU students).
Private lessons are the most effective way to personalize your learning, allowing you to progress fastest and at your own pace.
Private lessons can often be worked around your schedule.
Included in your private lesson fees is the opportunity to fence in open bouting the Wednesday following your lesson(s). Although we learn most effectively in a one on one setting, it is helpful to fence with a variety of opponents.
Cost for new beginners is $20 for 30 minute lesson or $40 for a 1 hour lesson
Cost for lessons beyond beginner level is $30 for 30 minute lesson or $60 for 1 hour or $115 for two hours in a week
A $65 annual fee is due at the start of the season in August/September and/or at the start of your private lessons ($35 annual fee for current MSU students)
Use of some club equipment until you are able to purchase your own higher level equipment is included, as is non-competitive US Fencing Association membership. As you become a competitive fencer you may wish to upgrade your US Fencing membership to a competitive one to compete in tournaments.

Wednesdays (start August 28) 6:15-7:15

You may fence in open bouting without having signed up for that month's classes If you have a current USFA membership and your own gear. In that case, floor fees are $40/month or $15 per session

Current MSU students 10% discount with USFA membership and your own gear.
Do your own warm-up, stretching and footwork. This is straight up fencing time, not a class. If you will be joining this session, please arrive in time to give yourself enough time to warm-up before fencing and so that staff know you are coming. You may wish to arrange a fencing partner of your own age/skill level ahead of time.
Fencers coming from out of town are welcome with a national membership - please email ahead of time so that we know you are coming.
USFA membership is required.
